Jamieson & Carry is an independent, family-owned and run jewellery business. Established in 1733 in Aberdeen, Jamieson & Carry offers imaginative fine jewellery, Swiss watches and luxury gifts in-store and online.
The store offers two large floors of carefully curated everyday and luxury items from around the world, including jewellery individually-designed and handmade in-house.
Our team works hard to provide excellent customer service through our variety of pieces and our professional, welcoming atmosphere.

Our Workshop
Although unseen by our store customers, we are very proud of our workshop and the skilled craftspeople within it. This team continues to perform consistently and reliably to extremely high standards and we are very fortunate to be able to rely on them as much as we do. The workshop is equipped with the very best equipment, ensuring we are able to offer an impressive service.
Our History, Our Heritage
'Heritage' is defined as a 'special or individual possession' and for the 280+ years of Jamieson & Carry's existence, this is how the business has been treated - as a family member, with love, care, and consideration.
It was in 1908 that William Whyte Carry purchased and became the sole owner of the business of Geo. Jamieson & Sons which was then at 125 Union Street. The firm has evolved through various families since its establishment in 1733 at "The Head of Broad Street" in Aberdeen.
In 1925, W. W. Carry took the bold decision to purchase and occupy 142 Union Street. Then, in 1933, on the bi-centenary of the original founding of the firm by Alex Forbes, W. W. Carry's son Joseph Robert Carry became a partner and the firm's name was changed to 'Jamieson & Carry'. J R Carry's wife Diana became a partner in 1969.
Their sons, Michael & Peter, became partners in 1969 and 1976 respectively, continuing in business together today with the next generation of the Carry family represented by Michael's sons, Christopher (1998) & Philip (2003), and Peter's son Angus (2010).
The current business is now run on a day-to-day basis by Christopher, Philip and Angus Carry who continue to develop Jamieson & Carry into an indigenous luxury brand, facilitating both traditional and modern means of business.
The partners are supported by a hand-picked team of professionals, each maintaining an educated and professional attitude, keen to assist each other and their clients in a welcoming, inclusive manner.
